William willingly steps on LEGOs, usually with barefoot. He will dump out his LEGO bin, and trod all over the pieces. I thought that was supposed to be one of the most painful experiences ever…
For the first time in our new place, William let me use the bathroom without yelling at me the whole time. So that’s nice.
I’m kind of in love with William’s tiny shoe boxes. His shoes are great and all, but the boxes are really the best part. He’s pretty into the box as well.
For a while, I was crying over trying to explain to William that our new condo is our home. I think he’s got it now, but it was pretty rough.
I asked William what I should write for his blog today. He said “sit”. Here I am sitting.
William now insists I wear a hat when we go on walks. I don’t own a hat. I never wear hats. Where is this coming from? Which one of you has been wearing hats around my kid?
When did cars stop going “vroom”? Sportier and classic cars still do it, but most cars don’t seem to make much sound at all except for the sound of their tires on the road. What sound will William think cars make?
My guess at William’s internal dialogue this morning: “This chicken’s too hot!” “This chicken’s too cold!” “I want your chicken, not this chicken!”
Today marks the true beginning of my tenure as an at-home dad. William makes it fun.
William is celebrating the arrival of 2019 by insisting that his LEGO goat is actually our dog, Hiccup.
